Spotlight On. . .
Rob and I have been married for 35 years. Wow ! It really has been that long. Time flies when you are having fun!!!

We have three children between us.  Brandon and Heather are Rob's children from a previous marriage and Jessica is our daughter together! Brandon lives in San Clemente, Heather lives in Lake Tahoe and our daughter Jessica and her husband Robby live in Vacaville with our two grandchildren: Amelia who is 3 and Grant who is 1.

Rob worked in the concrete industry for many years and decided he paid his dues!  Waking up at the crack of dawn everyday and working 10-12 hour days was getting real old.  He retired in 2007.

I worked for the Irvine Unified School District for 25 years. Ten years at University High School and 15 yrs at Santiago Hills Elementary School.  I worked in the Special Education Department and cherished the time I had teaching those precious ones.  I decided it was time to join Rob in the retirement world and did so in 2010.

We are really enjoying our time together as a couple of leisure!  We have so much we want to do.  Traveling is one of our favorites.  In November we went on a two week cruise to the Panama Canal.  How awesome it was to see.  We try to go up north as much as we can to see our daughter, son-in-law and darling grandchildren.

Going to Car Shows has been something we really have enjoyed doing for many years.  Rob is a car fanatic!  He takes great pride in our cars and enjoys putzing in his garage.  We always dreamed of someday owning a Hot Rod.  The 1940 Ford Sedan was his first choice.  We attended the 40 Ford Day Car Show in Anaheim in late June of 2010. There shining like a real Black Beauty was the car of Rob's dreams.  We met the couple who had it up for sale, made an offer and OUR DREAM CAME TRUE!!!! We are now the proud owners of a black, 40 Ford Deluxe Sedan, RJS 40.

We started looking into car clubs and thought it would be so much fun to meet other car enthusiasts like ourselves.  How great to be involved in a club with so many nice, friendly people who share the love for cars as we do.

Looking forward to many happy days!
